Feminists Choosing Life of New York has initiated a lawsuit against New York State for their decision to compensate young women up to $10,000 of taxpayer money for egg donations for embryonic stem cell research.

The long-term health consequences of hyper-stimulation of women’s ovaries is largely uninvestigated but has been linked to painful and serious disorders including ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome; clotting disorders, kidney damage, ovarian twisting, pulmonary embolism, stroke and even death.
